In 1991 my creative partner, Cordelia Westcott and I embarked on a mission to create an arts and photography company that would not only showcase our natural talents, acquired skills, and personal vision, but also introduce us and provide a professional level of varied services to the rest of the world.
Since then, Basil Fairbanks Studio has personally witnessed, experienced, and overcome many challenges and changes within the creative industry. It has grown and evolved over time, and forced us to rethink the way work is done. But most of all, the experiences we have gained, have dictated repeatedly how work should also be fun. And that is what I believe the last twenty years working as a creative professional has brought me to. To never forget how any task, big or small, should always be enjoyable. Both for myself and for my clients.
